With an imposing height of 6,570 meters, the Tupungato Volcano is one of the most impressive giants in the Andes Mountains and a true challenge for any mountaineer. The Tupungato mountain expedition, which crosses glacial landscapes and desolate valleys, requires not only good physical condition, but also high mountain skills. Due to its altitude and technical terrain, the ascent of Tupungato is ideal for those who have already faced mountains above 6,000 meters and for those who wish to begin high mountain expeditions.
