Green Light in the Andes: High Season Kicks Off in Full Gear
November 25 , 2025 | NewsNo category

The wait is over. The months of planning and anxiously staring at the calendar are behind us. At High Mountain Expeditions, the radios are on, the 4x4s are rolling, and the crampons are already biting into the snow. It’s official: the high mountain season is open, and we are operating at full machine.
Our teams are already deploying toward the continent’s most coveted objectives. We are moving across the vastness of Ojos del Salado, tackling the rawness of Tupungato, navigating the glaciers of Marmolejo, and ascending the classic route of El Plomo, among others.

A Milestone of Growth: Parallel Operations
This simultaneous movement in the North and the Central Zone marks a significant growth stage for us. Maintaining parallel operations from now until March is a logistical challenge we accept with pride. It demonstrates the capacity and solidity of a team that is now prepared to be on multiple fronts, guaranteeing the same safety and excellence that characterizes us on every single rope team.
The Action is Happening Now
The action is happening today, and the weather window is now. Although demand has been high, we want you to be part of this season: we still have spots available for strategic dates in December, January, and February. Don’t let others tell you about it in March; if you have a goal in mind, this is the moment to secure it.
